The event concluded at the weekend and the top senior titles went to James Connelly as he beat James Faudemer 6-1, 6-0 in an all-Jersey battle for the men’s honour. Jersey’s Kirsten McArthur came close to preventing Norfolk’s Lorna Macgrath adding a second title, after her under-18 success. However, the visiting player came back from one set down to beat McArthur 6-2, 0-6, 1-0 (3).
Natasha Forrest (Jersey) and Cameron Bowie (East of Scotland) both won two singles sections as they secured the U12 and U14 titles.
