First back was The Dogs, skippered by Allen Brown, which completed the race, the most competitive in the Channel Islands sailing calendar, in a corrected time of 3 hr 14 min.

Following a good start the Melges 24 was able to keep pace with the larger boats in the fleet until Corbière. The Dogs hoisted their spinnaker for the final run into St Helier and was able to pull away from the rest of the fleet and finish first over the line and first on handicap.

The rest of the top three positions were also filled with Jersey yachts. Less Xpense, skippered by Steve Pearl, was second, with Lady Machela third.
