They won seven medals – including two golds – in the annual islands youth games in what was their best ever performance on day one of the competition.
The golden girls on day one were athlete Chloe Turmel who blasted the competition away to win the 1,500m crown by almost five seconds(4.35.88) and swimmer Beckie Scaife, who set a personal best on her way to winning the 800m freestyle in 9.35.30 min.
