Gascoyne, who defeated Guernsey and Channel Islands champion Gary Dodd in the Open at the Geoff Reed Centre at the FB Fields on Sunday, is a dominant force in Jersey having won the men’s singles title for a fifth consecutive year recently.
Gascoyne also won the Division I averages for a fifth consecutive year in the Deutsche Bank League, the previous three years following a 100 per cent record.
