The big surprise of the day was the absence of reigning Jersey champion Craig Gascoyne who became unavailable due to a last-minute work commitment.
That left the way for Grzegorz Frankowski to take the Deutsche Bank Jersey Top 12 honour as he remained unbeaten in his 11 matches, conceding just two games along the way. He will be joined in the CI finals by runner-up Marcin Jurkiewicz and third-placed Josh Band after they lost just two games each to finish on 20 points. Both went down to Frankowski 3-1 while Jurkiewicz, who lost 3-2 to Hugo Tupper 3-2, defeated Band to secure second place on countback.
Also making the cut was Tom Marsay in fourth as he converted good wins against Eugene Ellis 3-1, Mario Martinka 3-2 and Hugo Tupper 3-0.
