IF I was better with numbers, I’d be earning three times as much as I am now, I wouldn’t have the slightest interest in what the Council of Ministers are doing, and I’d be working in the finance industry and bored out of my mind.Through what I can only guess was a mix-up at the marking stage, I managed to scrape through GCSE maths — and I managed to get a mortgage by smiling and nodding when people started talking about interest rates, capital repayment and other things which I still don’t get.
