A WAITROSE employee has been nominated for the Customer Service Employee of the Year award for always going out of her way for her customers.
Suzanne Blake, who works at Waitrose in St Helier, has been nominated by Kay Houiellebecq, who said she always tries to find Mrs Blake because she is always more than happy to help.
“As I am well into my 90s, shopping can be a struggle,” Mrs Houiellebecq explained, but she added that the Waitrose worker makes shopping that bit easier for her.
Mrs Houiellebecq explained that she can sometimes struggle to lift her shopping, but Mrs Blake “always takes over and fills my bags and puts them into the trolley”.
She added that she could not recommend Mrs Blake enough because she was always willing to go above and beyond and take some of the stress out of the shopping experience.
