THE “creative backbone” of a charity helping to provide spaces to skate has been nominated for Volunteer/ Fundraiser of the Year.
Natalie Mayer praised Chris Scott for donating huge amounts of time to Skate Space, from overseeing the creation of the initial visuals for the project ideas, to then helping connect with young people to develop more ideas.
Mr Scott whose expertise span photography, videography, editing, and graphic design, “keeps pushing forward” with the project as he simply “loves helping young people develop”.
More widely, Mr Scott cares deeply about creativity in Jersey and opening doors for young people into that world, by “mentoring and encouraging young Islanders to develop their own ideas,” added his nominator.
Mr Scott is praised for constantly “giving and always providing genuine hard work,” for the charity by being there to promote ideas, or push creative concepts even further.
