A MORRISONs staff member has been nominated for the Customer Service Employee of the Year award for always having a “friendly disposition” to all customers.
Susan Deans and Glynis Burnal said that they always receive a cheerful greeting from Laura Giquel when shopping, making it a positive experience which leaves people “looking forward” to their shopping trips.
They said: “‘Morning Ma Luv’ is the cheery greeting you get from her at 7am – she is very helpful to us oldies, packs our bags and checks we have not overlooked specials – if so she jumps up and gets the missing item.”
Her nominators added that although Ms Giquel needs to have dialysis weekly and “does not enjoy good health”, she is still a “pleasure to be served by, especially in the early mornings”.
They said that Ms Giquel greets every customer with her “big smile and friendliness” each morning.
“She is a credit to Morrisons”, they said.
