A SERIAL fundraiser who has helped 12 charities in the past year has been nominated for Volunteer/Fundraiser of the Year.
Colin Adams’s speciality is pub quizzes, which he has hosted at venues across the Island for charities such as Mind Jersey, After Breast Cancer Support and Dementia Jersey.
He has also hosted quizzes to fundraise for three Battle of Flowers floats. His nominator, Carol Fleet, said that “he does it all”.
Over the last 12 months, Mr Adams has raised £22,000 and, having been nominated for Volunteer/Fundraiser of the Year multiple years in a row, Mrs Fleet “think[s] he really deserves it” this time around.
On top of his fundraising, Mr Adams also spends his time leafleting at Liberation Day and the Battle of Flowers, selflessly using his time to promote community causes.
