UK accreditation for Intertrust Jersey
INTERTRUST’S Jersey office has been accredited by the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales (ICAEW).
This means that the firm is now an Approved Training Employer and can offer staff the choice between the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) and the Associate Chartered Accountant (ACA) qualifications when undertaking their studies.
ICAEW is a global professional organisation that promotes and supports over 147,000 accountants worldwide, providing qualifications and professional development.
To gain the accreditation, Intertrust was required to show that it had a thorough training and skills programme and outline how it would support trainees. The firm also has to have in place highly trained representatives with experience in supporting student colleagues.
Intertrust Jersey’s HR director, Lisa Bragg, said: ‘This accreditation will enable employees to have more opportunity to study in the Island and will expand the courses we currently offer.’
The company also provides training for those studying the Institute of Chartered Secretaries and Administrators (ICSA) and STEP examinations, as well as other specialist qualifications.
