CI Co-op Travelmaker branches shortlisted for industry awards

The Travelmaker branch at St Peter has been selected as one of the top five
agencies in the south-west region and Travelmaker in Don Street is in the top five touring and adventure agencies – a new category this year.

Co-op Travelmaker head of travel Carl Winn said: ‘It is fantastic to have been shortlisted in these prestigious awards and a huge achievement for our branches to feature in the top five shortlist.

‘It is a credit to the hard work and dedication of my colleagues who strive year on year to deliver the best possible service to our clients,’ added Mr Winn.

Travelmaker Guernsey has also been named as a top five agency in the south-west region.

More than 900 travel agencies and branches put themselves forward for consideration, with a final shortlist of 95 across 19 categories. TTG editor Pippa Jacks said: ‘Our Top 50 Travel Agencies initiative takes us the length and breadth of the country to uncover stories of brilliant agents going the extra mile for their customers. With extremely stiff competition once again this year, any agency that has made it onto the shortlist should be extremely proud.’

The shortlist was compiled by a panel of 60 travel suppliers including airlines, tour operators, cruise lines and car hire providers who rated agencies according to business performance, customer service and innovation. For the next stage of the competition a TTG journalist will visit each agency to carry out an assessment, with winners announced in Birmingham in April.
