Production company launches sport arm

3C International was founded in 2014 by former ITV1 cameraman, editors and producers. The new venture, 3Ci Sport, headed by Phil Bouchard and Tom Killick, has developed out of online video coverage the team were asked to provide last year at World Cricket League tournaments in Jersey and Los Angeles, resulting in contracts with ICC Europe and ICC Americas.

Since then the Jersey firm has taken on new projects including production at international cricket events in Holland, Scotland, Johannesburg, Uganda, Toronto, Houston, Miami, Indianapolis, Dallas and Chicago. They also filmed at the recent Women’s Cricket World Cup Qualifier in Bangkok and worked closely with USA Cricket on tour in the United Arab Emirates and Oman.

Business director Mr Bouchard said: ‘Video content is the most dynamic and engaging way to connect with sports fans and 3Ci Sport will focus on producing material for our client’s social media channels where much of the content is consumed and where the conversation with fans can be driven.

‘3Ci Sport is a natural evolution for the team. We remain committed to our corporate clients under 3C International and will recruit accordingly to service our sporting contracts under 3Ci Sport.’

Co-founder and creative director Mr Killick added: ‘We have created a massive library of material and evolved with USA Cricket in a new brand roll-out which included us animating their new logo and producing other TV graphic assets.

‘It’s an exciting time as we seek to grow the level of work with USA Cricket and the ICC globally, as well as introduce new sports into the mix.’

Corporate clients with an involvement in sport will see those elements of production transferred over and handled by 3Ci Sport.

Locally, the official videos for the Standard Chartered Jersey Marathon, Accuro Jersey Triathlon, Round Island Challenge and Durrell Challenge will be produced by 3Ci Sport alongside two White Collar Boxing events, Live Channel Islands Surfing and sponsors’ content at the Isle of Man TT Races.
