Snap Ring Joint is one of four finalists in the start-up of the year category in awards that will be presented later this month.
Over the last four years, the company has developed and tested a range of ground-breaking pipeline coupling technologies.
The business has its head office on the Esplanade and operate from the Island, as the management team who brought it together live in Jersey.
However, there is no manufacturing here with the joints produced currently in the UK, Italy and the US.
Director Jonathan Morley-Kirk said that the global market for pipeline connections was enormous and covered many industry sectors.
