ISLANDERS are being invited to celebrate Jersey’s unsung heroes at the Pride of Jersey Awards – with tickets available to the public for only the second year.

All 42 finalists will be celebrated at the Royal Jersey Showground on 18 November, when the winners of this year’s 14 categories will be revealed.

Sponsored by DFDS and Jersey Post, the awards attracted more than 300 nominations and over 30,000 votes. Each category winner will take home a £1,000 prize provided by their award’s sponsor.

Tickets have been made available to the public for only the second year, giving readers the chance to share in the celebrations.

Group Editor Carl Walker said: “It would be fantastic to welcome as many readers as possible to celebrate the best of Jersey with us.

“This year’s awards attracted over 30,000 votes and over 300 nominations, giving us the opportunity to read and share the stories of hundreds of Islanders.

“Tickets are limited and we now have less than one month to go – so we encourage anybody interested to grab their spaces as soon as possible.”

Two familiar voices will guide guests through the evening: Channel 103’s Peter McLinton, best known as Peter Mac, and BBC mid-morning radio host Alison Moss.

Guests will enjoy a welcome drink, a two-course dinner and entertainment.

This year’s categories include the new Sports Ambassador award. Winners were selected at a judging event at Bar Nautique on Wednesday 21 October, with each panel comprising a JEP staff member, a representative of the category sponsor and last year’s winner.

The ceremony runs from 5.45pm to 10.30pm, with a smart-casual dress code.

Individual tickets cost £60, while a table of ten is available at the discounted price of £550.

To book, scan the QR code or visit PrideofJerseyAwards2026.eventbrite.co.uk.

The events team will then contact the person who booked by email to collect guest details and dietary requirements.

All of this year’s finalists can be viewed on the Pride of Jersey website.
