THREE men have denied being involved in importing cocaine into the Island.
Garett McCarthy (47), Roger James Baksa (41) and 61-year-old John Alexander Roy all entered not-guilty pleas in the Royal Court on Friday.
All three appeared by video link and were remanded in custody.
Advocate Sarah Dale appeared remotely for two of the defendants, while Advocate Nicholas Mière represented the third in court. Crown Advocate Carla Carvalho was prosecuting.
The case will return for a plea-and-directions hearing on 26 November, when the court is expected to consider a trial date.
The defendants have also been ordered to file statements setting out their cases.
Bailiff Sir Robert MacRae was presiding, sitting with Jurats Karen Le Cornu and Donald Gardener.
