WINNERS of the latest annual Jersey TechAwards – which saw the highest number of nominations to date – were announced at a ceremony at the Royal Jersey Showground.

Organiser Digital Jersey described the 2026 Awards as “the biggest and most competitive yet”, with over 500 attendees and a 70% increase in nominations compared to last year.

Judges reviewed entries across 13 categories, spanning start-ups, established businesses, standout leaders, innovation and a new ‘One to Watch’ category, alongside AI and productivity.

A research programme focused on heart failure, an AI-supported approach to policing and a ‘digital twin’ management system for a local distillery were among this year’s winners.

Digital Jersey chief executive Tony Moretta said that the Awards “celebrate the ideas and ambition shaping Jersey’s digital future”.

He continued: “Research estimates that our digital sector generated £415 million in direct economic value in 2024 and supported more than 4,000 jobs.

“Behind those figures are businesses creating opportunities and people finding new ways to solve problems.”

Mr Moretta congratulated everyone recognised by the 2026 Awards.

“Their achievements show why digital matters both as an economic sector in its own right and as a force for positive change across Island life.”

Denis Philippe, chief technology officer of headline sponsor EWG, said the firm was “proud to once again support the Jersey TechAwards”.

He said that the shortlist and winners reflected “the digital talent we are fortunate to have here in Jersey”.

Mr Philippe added: “The Awards are a celebration of how innovation, ambition and collaboration can come together to make a significant impact across all areas of our community, and those are values that align with our own vision at EWG too.

“Our congratulations to all the winners this year.”
