A FAMILY team comprised of husband-and-wife Scott and Jenny Docherty, plus their 15-year-old daughter Eleanor, completed a round-Island swim earlier this week.
After leaving St Helier Harbour just before 7am on Monday, the “Family Tide” team completed the challenge in just under 11 hours.
The swim was supported by the Jersey Long Distance Swimming Club, with pilot Guy Pipon at the helm, Graeme Lowe as observer and Mrs and Mrs Docherty’s younger child Rory (13) also part of the crew.
It was the last of 16 swims to have taken place under the club banner across the summer, although regular weekly activities are scheduled to continue for the rest of September.
