ISLANDERS hoping to enjoy time in the French Alps this winter are in luck – after Aurigny announced a large scale programme of flights to Grenoble.
The airline will be operating flights from Guernsey and Jersey to Grenoble every Saturday from 19 December to 6 February.
The route went on sale on Wednesday with fares starting at £99.99 one-way.
Aurigny’s chief commercial officer, Philip Saunders, said: “As the islanders’ airline, we know that island life doesn’t stop in the winter.
“That’s why we’re delighted to reconnect Guernsey and Jersey with the French Alps – giving islanders the freedom to get away, explore and make more of the world beyond our shores.”
The services from Guernsey are direct, one-stop, same-plane flights via Jersey, with no requirement to disembark. Services then fly direct from Jersey to Grenoble.
They can be booked via Aurigny’s website or app.
