ALL Islands Unlimited passenger sailings have been cancelled up to and including 10 September because of a technical fault.
The operator announced the disruption this afternoon, saying affected passengers would receive full refunds automatically and would not need to take any action.
The cancellations affect the company’s passenger services between Jersey and Guernsey.
Islands Unlimited said it would provide a further update by the end of this week for passengers booked to travel from 11 September onwards.
It will then confirm whether those sailings can go ahead or whether further cancellations will be necessary.
The disruption comes after a difficult weekend for passengers travelling to and from Jersey, with a number of ferry services cancelled because of strong winds and adverse weather conditions over the bank-holiday weekend.
Islands Unlimited said: “We sincerely apologise for the disruption and uncertainty this situation is causing.
“Our team is working continuously to resolve the issue and restore services safely and reliably.”
Passengers whose sailings have been cancelled will receive refunds through the original payment method.
