FAMILIES have just days left to apply for Jersey’s Back to School Bonus, which helps with the cost of preparing children for the new school year.
The payment is available to families with children in Reception to Year 11 attending school in Jersey and with a combined household income of up to £75,000 in 2025.
Families receiving Income Support will receive the payment automatically and do not need to apply.
Eligible families will receive £100 for each primary school child and £150 for each secondary school child to help cover the cost of uniforms, shoes, stationery and other school essentials.
Applications close on Friday 31 July. Payments will be made as a single lump sum in August, ahead of the start of the September term.
