ENGLAND’s World Cup dream may have ended in heartbreak, but supporter Dave Lehan-Port still has something to celebrate, after being confirmed as the winner of the JEP’s match-day competition.
Fans were invited to share photos or videos of their set-up to be in with a chance of winning a £50 voucher to go towards food and refreshments to watch the final.
Dave shared photos of his side’s match-night celebrations in the Lamplighter and later outside the Mary Rose – with the whole squad equipped with England shirts, hats and a flag too.
After learning he’d scored the prize, he told the JEP that he would be splitting his winnings with his fellow fans… proving football really is a team game.
