Vin d’Honneur to be held for Constable of nearly three decades

PARISHIONERS of St Lawrence are holding a special Vin d’Honneur next month in honour of their former Connétable, who retired ahead of June’s election after 27 years of service to the Parish.

The reception for Deidre Mezbourian will take place at the Parish Hall on Friday 21 August at 7pm.

Officials said it will provide an opportunity for the community to thank Ms Mezbourian for her years of commitment to parish life and public service.

Ms Mezbourian was first elected as parish Constable in 2008, having served for three years as a Deputy in St Lawrence, helping to lead the Parish for almost three decades.
