JERSEY Model Aero Club is getting ready for a fundraising air display organisers claim is “guaranteed to brighten the Jersey skies” this Sunday.
After a few years’ absence, the club said it has gained permission to zip around the Les Landes headland in a celebration of the iconic Spitfire’s 90th anniversary.
The display will feature debuts from a Messerschmitt Bf 109 and two Twin Otters, which the team said are “always a crowd pleaser”.
Taking place from 2pm, the show is hoping to raise £1,500 for the Club.
