AN investigation has been launched into the cause of a fire at a property in St Helier on Tuesday evening.
The fire service received multiple calls reporting smoke coming out of a property in St Helier at approximately 10.20pm.
In a statement, it said: “Thankfully due to the quick actions of the occupier, all occupants inside the property were evacuated to safety.
“In total six firefighters in Breathing Apparatus were committed to tackle the fire.”
It added that service is “currently investigating the cause” of the fire.
The JFRS also stressed the importance of having working fire alarms.
