PART of the former Nude Dunes restaurant at La Pulente is being advertised for rent with a guide price of £20,000 per year.
The letting, being marketed by Le Rossignol Estates, includes use of the existing kitchen, serving hatch and an external seating area.
The move marks another development in the long-running saga surrounding the site, after several failed attempts by the owner to secure permission to convert the building into self-catering tourist accommodation.
The property was briefly occupied by Nude Dunes before the business collapsed in November 2023, only months after opening.
A description on the estate agent’s website describes the premises as “a rare opportunity to operate from a highly visible and much-loved location at the south end of St Ouen’s Bay”.
It says the space is “ideally suited to a simple, well-executed grab-and-go concept” and would appeal to operators able to provide a “consistent, high-quality product in a destination location”.
The listing also notes there is “no requirement for the tenant to provide or manage customer toilet facilities”, with a portaloo to remain on site while the owner works with Planning, the Parish and Jersey Property Holdings on a longer-term solution.
