National Trust for Jersey Sunset Concert at Grantez on Saturday evening with Roodmood Picture: JON GUEGAN

THE details of this year’s Sunset Concerts at Grantez in St Ouen have been announced by the National Trust for Jersey, which organises the popular annual summer get-together.

They will take place on Friday 19 and Saturday 20 June with Abba-tribute band Abbaloo headlining the first evening and Elvis Presley and Neil Diamond tribute acts taking to the ‘stage’ of the natural picturesque amphitheatre on the second.

Other acts include Brickhouse, who will bring high-energy pop, funk, soul and dance floor anthems to the Friday; and the ever-popular Jersey Bounce on the Saturday.

National Trust events and marketing manager Sophie Gorman said: “We are delighted to be bringing another fantastic weekend of live music to the stunning backdrop of St Ouen’s Bay. With views like these, we are hoping even the most dedicated ‘Easties’ will be tempted to make the journey west.

“Now we just need the sunshine to join the party – and we cannot wait to dance the weekend away with everyone.”

Mark Wilmott of Jersey Bounce said: “We are thrilled and honoured to be back performing at this year Sunset Concerts.

We have an exciting set for everyone to enjoy, with music to suit all ages and we look forward welcoming back some familiar faces and hopefully some new ones too.

“So, pack a picnic, bring your family, bring your friends, enjoy incredible views over St Ouen’s Bay and please do not forget to bring your dancing shoes!”

Tickets cost £10 per evening for National Trust members, £15 for non-members and £5 for children. They are available via www.nationaltrust.je or by calling the Trust’s headquarters on 483193.
