UNHAPPY residents of a St Lawrence road are suspected to be behind a spate of damage to cars including slashed tyres, the honorary police have said.
There have been four reports of damage to cars on Rue de Haut since the start of the year, the parish’s honorary force said, including slashed tyres, stolen valves and scratching.

Various vehicles were targeted, the force said, with some “targeted repeatedly”.
In a statement, the St Lawrence honorary police said the motivation for the attacks was “unclear” but added: “Rue de Haut is a very popular parking area and it may be that a local resident resents others parking along this road.”
The force is now appealing for anyone with information to contact Centenier Norman Laverack on HonoraryPolice@stlawrence.je or call the Duty Centenier on 07797 715602.
