A YOUTH theatre group is inviting Islanders to “Dare to Dream” this week as they take to the stage with a magical new musical production.
Charity Jersey Youth Performing Arts is presenting its latest show at Haute Vallée School Theatre, celebrating both young talent and a century of Disney storytelling.
The organisation offers theatre opportunities to young people aged between 9 and 21, providing a space for creativity, confidence-building and community.
The production, Dare to Dream, has been created to mark the 100th anniversary of Disney and features a lively mix of well-loved classics alongside some lesser-known songs.
Audiences can expect music from favourites such as Frozen, Encanto, Beauty and the Beast and The Hunchback of Notre Dame, among others.
The story follows a group of young trainees on their first day at a fictional Disney Imagineering Studio, where they learn how to turn their dreams into reality through teamwork, creativity and self-belief.
Performances are taking place twice daily throughout this week at 2.30pm and 7pm, with the final show on Saturday, with tickets available via Eventbrite from £10.
