THE Jersey Old Motor Club has announced plans for an Easter Monday procession, which will see decorated vehicles travel past several dedicated viewing points across the Island.
The procession is due to depart from Government House on the morning of Monday 6 April and make its way eastwards.
The first viewing point will be outside St Saviour’s Church at around midday.
The convoy is then expected to arrive at Gorey Common at 12.15pm, where a regrouping stop of around 30 minutes will take place.
The vehicles will be positioned in the section of the common between Union Road and Rue Horman, in the area known as Liberation Field.
At around 12.45pm, the procession will continue through Gorey Village, heading east and then north.
It is anticipated that the vehicles will pass St John’s Church at 1pm, before arriving at the Greenhills Country House Hotel at around 1.30pm.
Organisers are encouraging members of the public to line the route at the stated times to enjoy the display of the decorated vehicles as they make their way across the Island.
All timings are subject to change due to traffic conditions.
