A HIGH-energy circus inspired by the global phenomenon of K-pop is set to arrive in Jersey next month, promising a “visually spectacular show” blending music, dance and acrobatics.
Gandeys K-Pop Dragon Circus will run at People’s Park from 8 to 17 May, combining “high-energy choreography, theatrical storytelling, and world-class physical artistry” in a new live production.

Organisers say the show fuses the style of global K-pop acts with traditional circus performance, creating “a fast-paced, immersive experience designed to captivate audiences of all ages”.
The production features aerial acrobatics, stunts and “vibrant costumes”, alongside a soundtrack inspired by artists such as BTS and BLACKPINK.

Described as “a bold and contemporary production that feels fresh, dynamic, and unlike anything typically seen”, the show is aimed at families, younger audiences and music fans alike.
It is produced by Gandey World Class Productions and features 30 international performers, arriving in Jersey following a run in Hong Kong.
The company previously delivered sell-out shows in Jersey, with organisers saying that they expect strong demand for the limited run.
What is K-pop?
K-pop – short for Korean pop – is a global music genre originating from South Korea.
Known for its polished performances, it combines catchy pop songs with highly choreographed dance routines, striking visuals and fashion.
Acts such as BTS and BLACKPINK have helped drive its worldwide popularity, with millions of fans and sold-out tours across the globe.
