THE Royal Court is due to decide next month whether the former Nude Dunes restaurant at Le Pulente can become tourist accommodation.

Two similar applications by the owner, Nadia Miller, to turn part of the former café and restaurant into a two-bedroom holiday let have been refused and subsequent appeals also rejected.

Ms Miller has appealed one of these refused applications to the Royal Court, which is due to determine the legality of the rejection on 9 April.

Meanwhile, the St Brelade property is available for sale and/or rent, although agent Le Rossignol Estates has said that further clarity regarding the property will follow the decision of the Royal Court next month.

The former hospitality venue shut its doors in November 2023 when the company running the beachside diner went bust.

Since then, Ms Miller – who acquired the building as a creditor of the business – has been seeking to find a new use for the property.

She already has permission, through building bylaws, to change the use of the building from hospitality to retail or an office.
