A NEW report examining the economic and social impact of Jersey’s third sector will be unveiled at an event later this month.

The sector contributes more than £230 million to the Island’s economy, employs over 3,400 people – around 12% of the workforce – and is supported by more than 5,800 volunteers.

The study, produced with PwC and 14 local charities, will present the first detailed data on how the sector complements services delivered by the Government of Jersey.

The findings will be launched at St Paul’s Centre on 18 March. Free places can be booked via Eventbrite.
