A FAMILY support charity has launched a new fancy dress borrowing scheme to ease costs for parents.
Brighter Futures last week announced the start of its ‘Fancy Dress Costume Club’, which aims to assist families with the rising costs of school events.
More than 50 children’s fancy dress outfits in a range of sizes will be free to borrow from the charity for themed dress-up days such as World Book Day.
Supported by the Co-operative Community Fund, costumes will be available to all Brighter Futures clients on a first come, first served basis .
Thanking the Channel Island Co-op for its support with the initiative, the charity said:
“Practical support like this makes a real difference and helps ensure every child can take part fully in school life”.
