STATES police are appealing for witnesses to an “altercation” that took place at St James’ Wine Bar in the early hours of Thursday morning.

The incident took place both inside and outside the bar at around 2am on Thursday 15 January. States police said it involved “a number of people”.

Officers are appealing to anyone who witnessed the incident or who may have captured footage of what happened to come forward.
