ISLANDERS are being invited to a one-off festive fundraising event at Reg’s Garden next week.

Various charity and creative stalls selling pre-loved, vintage and homemade items for all ages will be available to purchase at an extended pop-up Christmas market in the gardens around Reg Langlois’ well-known home.

Taking place on Wednesday 17 December from 12pm until 7pm, Islanders are being encouraged to attend and raise money for several local causes, which will each benefit from a portion of the proceeds made by crafters at the event.

One of the charities set to benefit from the event is Dementia Jersey.

Entry is free and the address of Reg’s Garden is ‘Badger’s Holt’ on La Route des Genets in St Brelade.

Reg Langlois has opened the garden of his home to the public and tourists since 1994 and has consistently raised money for local causes.

Over the years, Reg’s Garden has been a venue for various events, including weddings, children’s parties, charity events, music concerts, and performances.

For his continuous efforts, Mr Langlois was named Fundraiser of the Year at the inaugural Pride of Jersey awards in 2015.

This year, he was a finalist in the Community Champion category in the tenth edition of the ceremony.
