THE police are investigating a collision that reportedly took place in a layby next to the People’s Park on Monday afternoon.
The force stated that a woman was left with minor injuries following the incident, which is said to have occurred around 5pm.
A police spokesperson said it was alleged that a man in his early 60s was driving a black mini cooper north along St Aubin’s Road and collided with a van, which was pushed into another car – both of which were parked in the first layby nearest to the People’s Park.
“Between the van and parallel car was the car owner, who suffered minor injury,” the spokesperson continued.
“The incident is being investigated. We are looking for witnesses, dashcam footage, to further the investigation.”
