HEADWAY Jersey is to hold a soup kitchen fundraiser in St Helier tomorrow.
On Wednesday, Islanders are invited to choose from a selection of soups, with all proceeds going towards funding the wellbeing and rehabilitation services at the charity’s Day Centre.
The event will feature soups created and donated by chefs from some of the Island’s top hotels and restaurants including The Atlantic Hotel (chef Will Holland), Tavola (chef Tom Radiguet) and the culinary students at Highlands College under chef Dom Farrell.
There will also be cakes and cookies available from local bakeries.
The soup kitchen will be held at Charing Cross, outside the Santander Work Café, from 11am until 2pm.

Headway’s Day Centre supports Islanders recovering from or living with brain injuries, strokes, road accidents, or trauma. It aims to help them improve their lives through specialist rehabilitation, physiotherapy, cognitive/ emotional support, and social connection.
The Day Centre supports more than 40 Islanders each week.
