NERVOUS FLYERS are invited to attend the first Jersey version of a course which has helped over 14,000 people overcome their fear of flying.

A programme to help nervous flyers take to the skies with confidence will take off from Jersey Airport next year.

easyJet is launching its first ‘Fearless Flyer’ course in Jersey on Saturday 17 January 2026.

The programme has helped over 14,000 people overcome their fear of flying since it launched in 2012, with a success rate of more than 95%.

The Fearless Flyer course is divided into three main parts: a virtual ground course, a ‘meet the team’ session, and a one-hour experience flight with live commentary.

Steven Treadaway, who had only ever been on one flight 27 years ago until he attended easyJet’s Fearless Flyer course at Luton Airport, described it as a “truly life-changing experience”.

Course director Mark Wein added: “As someone who used to have a fear of flying, I understand only too well how restrictive this fear can be, but it really isn’t difficult to overcome.

“We’re really pleased to be able to bring our course to Jersey for the first time to help nervous flyers on the island take to the skies with confidence.”
