ANDIUM has delivered more than 300 new homes across its estates so far this year – and has contracts in place to deliver hundreds more.

Chief executive Lindsay Wood provided an update on the affordable housing provider’s build programme during a hearing with the Public Accounts Committee yesterday.

Committee lay-member Philip Taylor asked what “key deliverables” Andium had achieved in recent years.

Ms Wood said: “This year alone, we’ve delivered 307 new homes across our estates, our new developments Maisons Les Arches by the Grand Marché and also the Mayfair Hotel.”

She continued: “We’ve also entered into contracts to deliver a further 600 homes from this point, including the development of four of the Island Plan fields, which will deliver 250 family homes.

“We’ve also successfully and efficiently let those homes, and we’ve created a number of homeowners.

“We’ve created almost 600 homeowners since we were incorporated, and we have many more products available.”

At the end of last year, the affordable-housing provider announced that it had secured £100 million from private institutional investors to help fund its development programme.
