NEW cast members starring in the next series of Bergerac have been revealed by UKTV alongside “first look” images highlighting some of the Jersey filming locations.
The first series of the long-anticipated reboot was launched in February on U and U&DRAMA.
In April, UKTV revealed that the new Bergerac had become the second highest rating programme on U&DRAMA, with 1.8 million consolidated viewers tuning in for the first series.

The launch also contributed to a record-breaking performance on U, with what was described at the time as “the best week ever” for the platform.

Filming for the second series, which is expected to air in early 2026, concluded last month.

Written by Toby Whithouse, alongside Ashley Sanders, Emilie Robson, Faebian Averies and Brian Fillis, it continues to reimagine the iconic 80s detective drama created by Robert Banks Stewart.

Damien Molony returns in the lead role of Jim Bergerac and is joined once again by Zoë Wanamaker as Charlie Hungerford, Robert Gilbert as Barney Crozier and Chloé Sweetlove as Kim Bergerac.

But the new series will also see Adrian Edmondson as Nigel, a new presence in Charlie’s life, as well as Lesley Sharp as Monica, mother to Michael played by Turlough Convery and Nicola played by Camilla Beeput.
