THE Aquatherm Stadium hosts a travelling Jersey Bulls side who seek to steal points from yet another side in the top four of the Isthmian South East Division.

The sole undefeated side in the division, Faversham Town, welcome the Jersey Bulls tomorrow for a 1pm kick-off.

Captain James Queree has belief in his side ahead of tomorrow’s game, stating: “We’ll go there with a game plan, we’ll do our homework on them, but we have confidence in ourselves that we’re going to create opportunities with the players and quality that we’ve got.”

The Bulls go into this fixture buoyed by an excellent 1-0 home win over AFC Whyteleafe, as they look to build on that result against domestic football’s three lions.

The three lions on Faversham Town’s crest are unique to the club. Inspired by Faversham’s civic coat of arms, itself derived from the Royal Arms of England, the design makes Faversham Town the only English club side to feature three lions passant guardant, just like those on the national team’s badge.

Queree is keen to build on last weekend’s result, stating: “Getting three points and a clean sheet against Whyteleafe shows that we can perform and hold out games.”

The ‘Lilywhites’ were promoted to Step 4 last season, much like the Bulls, but in far more comfortable fashion, as they cantered their way to victory in the Southern East Counties League, losing just two games throughout the entire season and ending it as outright champions.

Faversham Town’s excellent form has carried into the Isthmian South East Division, as they currently trail league leaders, Three Bridges, by a single point.

The Bulls will no doubt have an attacking threat to keep an eye on. Faversham’s Tashi-Jay Kwaiye scored 23 goals in their previous league campaign from midfield. The attacking midfielder has already netted an incredible 17 times, with 11 of those coming in 12 league games, since the start of the 2025/26 season.

Kwaiye’s return is two more than the combined record of the Bulls top scorers, Lorne Bickley and James Queree.

This weekend’s fixture marks the Bulls third consecutive match against a side in the top four of the division. Jersey’s difficult run does not halt there, as they gear up to face Three Bridges at home on Tuesday night.

Judging by the Bulls’ recent Robin Hood–Esque form, they’re hardly ones to shy away from the bigger fixtures. Having dropped points to mid-table Sheppey United but taken results off AFC Croydon Athletic and Three Bridges, this side has a habit of rising to the occasion against stronger opposition.

Queree admitted that the side have been a stumbling block for the top teams in the league this season, saying: “Recently we’ve had some really good performances against very tough opposition, and the beauty of this league is that they come thick and fast.”

“Faversham are near the top of the table, we haven’t played them before, so we look forward to these types of games.” The captain continued.

“We’ll go there with a game plan, we’ll do our homework on them, but we have confidence in ourselves that we’re going to create opportunities with the players and quality that we’ve got.”
