A MAN has been arrested on suspicion of assault after an altercation in the early hours of Sunday morning left another man needing hospital treatment.
Police are appealing for information following the incident, which took place outside the toilets at Minden Place car park at around 2.30am on 24 August.
The alleged altercation involved two men. One was “seriously assaulted” and required hospital treatment, according to police.
The other man has been arrested for assault and an investigation is now underway.
Both men involved are described as white, aged between 30 and 40. One was wearing a white shirt and grey shorts, while the other was dressed in a blue T-shirt and jeans.
Officers are particularly keen to speak to two women who were believed to have been in the Minden Place car park toilets prior to the altercation.
