A TRIAL pitting the Co-op against its former CEO will continue in September, when the Royal Court is due to hear closing speeches.

The case has been going on since the middle of June and has already been adjourned once.

Colin Macleod, who was CEO from is bringing a personal injury claim.

He alleges that other directors conspired to oust him.

The Channel Islands Co-operative Society strongly denies the claims.

The trial has been adjourned until Wednesday 3 September.
