THE States police are appealing for information after a suspected break-and-entry in which a person is said to have climbed onto the balcony of a town flat, crawled through an open window and “stolen several items”.

The alleged incident took place between 6.45am and 11.05am on 17 July, according to the police.

In a statement, the force said: “Someone is believed to have entered a ground floor flat by climbing onto a balcony and accessing an open window. The suspect allegedly stole several items before exiting through a glass door onto the balcony.

“The person would have had to climb onto the balcony first to gain access to the window on the outside.”

The location of the alleged break-in off Windsor Road.

Officers would like to speak with anyone who may have seen the alleged incident.
