A 29-YEAR-OLD man charged with possessing cocaine with intent to supply and attempting to pervert the course of justice has had his case referred to the Royal Court.

Assistant Magistrate Adam Clarke deemed Javier Oswaldo Gomez’s case too serious to be dealt with in the Magistrate’s Court when it came before him last week.

Mr Oswaldo Gomez is now due to appear in the Royal Court on Friday 26 September.

He has been released on bail in the interim.

Legal adviser Harrison Gollop was prosecuting and Advocate Sarah Dale was defending.
