LEVANTE Jet – the Island’s new fast ferry which will run the Poole route – arrived in Jersey for the first time on Thursday afternoon.

The DFDS vessel sailed from Poole to St Helier after being in Portland for refit.

Tarifa Jet arrived in the Island a week ago, following delays due to technical issues with a ramp, and has started operating the St Malo route.

Freight and passenger vessel Stena Vinga – which filled in for Tarifa Jet while she remained in refit – has been leased by DFDS to run the Portsmouth route.
