A NEW play park in town has opened in time for the Easter holidays.

The Parish of St Helier announced on Friday that the refurbished play space for children aged seven+ and a new play space for children up to the age of six at Parade Gardens was open to the public.

Both play spaces have been designed to be inclusive.

St Helier Constable Simon Crowcroft said: “While we have planned a formal opening of our
new parks in early May, I am delighted that our new play spaces are available for children and young people to enjoy ahead of schedule and for the remainder of the Easter break.

“I want to take this opportunity to thank everyone who has helped on this project, both inside and outside the parish. Especially, I’d like to pay tribute to our dedicated parish team for their work delivering these exciting new play spaces in St Helier.”
