THIS weekend will see thousands of second-hand books go on sale in the second dedicated charity book event of 2025 which will raise money for Guide Dogs for the Blind.
Over 6,000 paperback books will be available at St Ouen’s Parish Hall on Friday 11 and Saturday 12 April in aid of the Jersey branch of the guide dogs charity.
The annual event first began in 1994 at Trinity Parish Hall and has since offered an increasing number of books each year to raise money to support Islanders with sight impairments.
Book lovers can visit the sale this Friday from 6pm to 8pm and on Saturday from 9am to 4pm at St Ouen’s Parish Hall.
Two further events are expected in June and October.
