Sugababes will be performing on the Sunday night

Sugababes and Faithless have been announced as the headline acts for this summer’s Weekender Festival.

The annual two-day event will be held on 5 and 6 July at the People’s Park after moving from the Royal Jersey Showground to its new town location last year.

Electronic music act Faithless, known for tracks such as “Insomnia” and “God is a DJ,” will headline the music festival on Saturday.

The following day, British girl group Sugababes will take to the main stage, performing their noughties hits including “Freak Like Me”, “Round Round” and “Push the Button”.

Festival organiser Warren Le Sueur said he was “absolutely ecstatic” about the line-up and promised “more exciting announcements to come.”
